Yu Tim Primary School - We want to be pilots

11 May 2014   Mother's Day
A note of thanks to a great mother - Kan, my dear friend.  On 18 April, Kan brought her son, Tommy and her friend, Chris, to Yu Tim. Kan said, "Tommy is going to study int he UK. I want him to have some experience of China, so that he knows his roots. I don't want him to know nothing about China and then leaves." Kan has businesses in China. We studied China Marketing together. So they came, with lots of gifts for both children and teachers - books, and knowledge of the outside world. Most unforgettable of all, to Tommy, was that he spoke to over a thousand children about his books. This was the first time in his life to speak to so many people. He did it nicely. To Chris, this was the first time he set foot on China - and to serve, telling us about the career he loved- being a pilot.

"Being a pilot, you should have good eye sight, very strong body, and good English. Pilots use English when communicating with airports."

" We have to go through very tough training. Even after becoming a pilot, we have tests every year. We have to keep up learning and training."

"I can help you set up a simulation flight room, so that students can learn about flying."

God is amazing. Thank you, Kan, Chris and Tommy. You're angels.
